We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Onsite) to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Develop, maintain, and implement Java-based components, applications, and frameworks.
• Lead the design and architecture of Java-based solutions.
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and system administrators to ensure all components of the project are properly integrated.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Java applications.
• Develop and maintain software documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends.
• Optimize existing code for better performance.
• Analyze existing code and implement necessary changes.
• Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a core Java developer
• 5+ years of experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications using Java/J2EE, Spring framework, and other related technologies.
• 5+ years of good hands-on experience inJava and J2EEtechnologies and well versed with features in Java 8 and above.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in Collections, Multi-Threading concepts and should be hands-on.
• Experience inSpring Boot
• Experience in UI technologies likeAngular, REACT
• Hands on development background and recent experience developing and implementing Java based Web Services, primarily in aRESTmodel.
• Experience building scalable and distributedmicro-services.
• Experience with major open-source tools and frameworks such asSpring, Hibernate, Spring JPA
• Good understanding ofData structureandAlgorithms
• Familiar with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with build and development tools likeGradleandMaven
• Experience in usingGITprojects.
• Experience withLinux / Unixenvironments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
• Good understanding ofSQLand working withrelational databases

Preferred Skills (not mandatory)

• Experience in messaging tools likeKafka
• Familiarity withcloud-based data platformsand services (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Good understating on data pipelines usingETL/ELTframeworks and tools (e.g.,Apache Spark).

Travel/Work location:

• Candidate must be in office 5 days a week.
• No travel to other location is needed.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
