Job Title: Machine/Forklift Operator
Location: Centreville,NS
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am start time.
Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hr

Assignment Information:
Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for a Machine/Forklift Operator role on behalf of our client in Centreville, Nova Scotia. Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a dynamic opportunity that combines operating a forklift with various general labour tasks? This could be the role for you!

Job Responsibilities:
* Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area.
* Perform visual inspections of the forklift and complete pre-shift checks to ensure its proper functioning.
* Assist in receiving and storing incoming materials and supplies.
* Prepare orders for shipment by picking and packing products.
* Support the production team by performing various labour tasks such as stacking, sorting, and organizing materials.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:
* High school diploma is required.
* Mechanical skills would be considered an asset.
* Strong computer skills considered an asset.
* Forklift experience an asset.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Attention to detail in all areas of work.
* Strong organizational skills
* Must be able to work efficiently as part of a team and be reliable

Requirements:
* Must follow all company GMP's and SOP's.
* Must be able to bend, twist and turn.
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
* Observe and follow the sanitation standards set in the Plant's policies.
* Perform other duties as assigned
