JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Regional Manager of Occupational Health Services, DEIA, and Workplace Wellness, the Occupational Wellness Advisor fulfills a regional mandate by playing a leading role in the research, development, deployment and promotion of the occupational wellness strategy, ensuring a rewarding workplace that includes, among other things, the employee recognition program and the Employee and Family Assistance Program.
The incumbent oversees the design of the wellness strategy and programs, which are inspired by best practices and new trends, while remaining in touch with organizational realities and needs, so that these initiatives can be implemented with a view to continuous improvement.
The incumbent works closely with key partners (both internal and external) through consultation and ongoing support.
The incumbent will have to travel to the different zones to ensure the implementation of the strategy and to set up local committees and a coordination network and must establish a communication and marketing plan to consult and inform employees about this wellness strategy.
All these tasks are carried out in collaboration with the Human Resources team (in particular the Regional Organizational Development Advisor), managers, stakeholders and certain agencies that play a role in the development of Vitalité Health Network employees. Other related duties may be added for the smooth operation of human resources.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in human resources management, business administration, health care or a related field
- Combination of training and experience deemed equivalent
- Three to five years' experience in the health care field, in human resources within a unionized setting
- Practical experience in the development and deployment of strategies and initiatives within large organizations
- Knowledge of occupational wellness and promotional concepts
- Combination of equivalent training and experience may be taken into consideration
- Motivation and enthusiasm
- Keen organizational and communication skills and demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Prioritization skills
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment with tight deadlines
- Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated skills in project management, as well as in strategy development and formulation

- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
