The Role:

We are actively seeking a seasoned Business Quality Analyst (BQA) to join our high-performing Core Banking Technology team. As a pivotal member of our growing team, you will play a crucial role in our agile technology delivery, contributing to the dynamic evolution of our systems. Responsibilities encompass a wide array of tasks, including but not limited to defining stories/MVPs, managing business process changes, conducting impact analyses, leading application testing, formulating robust test strategies and automation techniques, and providing post-production support.

What will you do?

  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Lead integrated and user acceptance testing to ensure that the system meets the outlined requirements. Articulate test strategy, test cases and participate in review process with various stakeholders and touchpoints.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and execution.
  • Translate test requirements of functionality into user stories & actively participate in product backlog prioritization.
  • Provide input into development of technical solutions to track & monitor application availability / latency statistics & help design improved reporting process.
  • Conduct thorough impact analyses, assessing the effects of proposed changes on various facets of business operations and technological infrastructure.
  • Work in deposit systems, banking account maintenance processes.
  • Identify opportunities for processes and system improvement.
  • Work within an Agile environment, collaborate with developers, business analysts and business stakeholders on system changes, upgrades and new implementations as needed.
  • Contribute to delivering projects on target, scope and quality.
  • Transfer knowledge to peers and foster a culture of learning in becoming subject matter experts within your domain.
  • Communicate effectively across diverse audiences and departments and levels acting as a SME in the assigned line of business.
  • Actively participate in retrospective sessions to continuously improve processes and practices.


What do you need to succeed?

  • Background in financial systems test strategy, execution and automation.
  • Experience working in high impact & mission critical systems, and track record of successful implementations involving major business changes.
  • Experience working in cross functional delivery practicing agile deliveries.
  • Analytical, detail oriented, highly organized.
  • Very strong communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Prior leadership experience desirable.
