Job Description:

TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. In attaining this client commitment, TDAM has built one of Canada's largest and most respected investment management and research teams with more than 220 Portfolio Managers, Associate Portfolio Managers, Traders and Analysts.

The Content Marketing team at TDAM is responsible for all content supporting TDAM retail (TDCT, FP, PIC, PIA, BD) and institutional, product and portfolio management partners. The team will guide the development process of high-quality collateral and sales support with consistent and impactful messaging and positioning of all TDAM products. As a key business partner, the team acts as a consultant on all content marketing aspects and will manage key stakeholder relationships and partnerships to ensure support is delivered in a relevant format, efficiently and in a timely manner. In addition, the team is responsible for managing all marketing activities and brand amplification efforts.

Job Description :

  • Collaborate with TDAM partners to support our distribution channels from a marketing/communications perspective:
    • Support the promotion and amplification of TDAM's ETFs
    • Provide strategic direction for development of marketing collateral focused
    • Develop detailed content briefs/project plans and oversee/manage the development of collateral to support the marketing plan for our distribution channels
    • Ensure collateral are delivered in a relevant format, efficiently and in a timely manner
    • Manage stakeholder relationships/expectations involved
    • Manage external marketing efforts and initiatives

Job Requirements :

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of financial industry experience, with an understanding of the investment and asset management space
  • Well-developed critical-thinking, business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets, investment products and TDAM's distribution channels
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively and influence different stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities within a time-sensitive environment
  • Understand the role of different media and channel options, as well as their impact on achieving marketing objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:

  • Masters/MBA/CFA designation or working towards CFA considered an asset
  • Relevant undergraduate degree required
  • Investment industry accreditation would be a strong asset (e.g., CSC, IFIC)"
