Job Description:

Key Accountabilities

  • Proactively research Computer Forensic solutions available in the market
  • Work with Vendors to determine appropriate tools for the company and investigation partners
  • Participate in implementation of tools while following strict procedures and controls to ensure top level security for the company
  • Ensuring tools are available, stable with ample capacity for investigations to occur (some after hour work may be required)
  • Help maintain systems for patching, keeping versions of software up to date and supported by vendor
  • Help perform tasks mandatory to maintaining systems in the company.
  • Responsible for the management oversight of the team's computer forensic lab and network infrastructure

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in digital forensics, incident response or cyber investigative analysis
  • At least 5 years of experience with Windows Desktop and Server operating systems
  • Strong knowledge of network systems and ability to understand/implement firewalls with Network specialists assistance
  • Experience with implementing and understanding systems used for Digital Forensic applications such as Magnet Axiom, Vound Intella, Encase and crowdstrike
  • Experience implementing Forensic applications in a corporate setting
  • Ability to communicate technical issues and challenges with non-technical people in an easy to understand way
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organization, leadership, and planning skills
  • Strong ability to manage problems and issues with the system when needed
  • Self-starting and high ownership skills
  • Occasional On call will be required
  • Service now experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems and infrastructure
  • Bachelor's Degree-BA/BS

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a forensic team and lab.
  • Familiarity with network architecture and security infrastructure placement
  • Familiarity with security tools such as Anti-Virus, SEIM systems and Data Loss Prevention tools
  • Ability to handle conflict effectively, by overcoming differences of opinion and finding common ground.
  • Can evaluate data and courses of action to reach logical, pragmatic decisions.
  • Applies innovation and creativity to problem-solving.
