As part of the Facilities Management team, the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating of contractor activities and for providing hands-on operational and maintenance services to internal clients at designated facilities.

Key functions include:
• Preventive Maintenance Management - developing and implementing a preventative maintenance schedule to perform routine checks and maintenance tasks on facility systems and equipment.
• Reactive Maintenance and Repairs - Responding to and managing maintenance requests and urgent repair issues.
• Safe and efficient operations - ensuring facilities are safe while maintaining operational expenses.

Our ideal teammate will have:
• Post secondary education in a technical field relevant to building maintenance
• Four years experience in a technical field relevant to building maintenance or a similar role
• Understanding of commercial building systems and structures
• Understanding of operating basics of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems of buildings
• Basic knowledge of hazmat risks
• Ability to take on basic maintenance work without direct supervision
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Class V New Brunswick Drivers License

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
