(5-Month Contractual Position)

DUTIES

Working with the Admissions team, the successful applicant will be required to perform complex clerical work requiring considerable independent judgment related to the processing of national and/or international undergraduate admission applications. Duties include handling and processing applications and supporting documents using Banner Student, Ellucian Recruit, and OnBase; supporting programmed communication with applicants; assessing information on general applications to determine prior education history and document checklists; supporting document processing using judgement to prepare and match documents to applications; ensuring activities are completed in accordance with established schedules; assisting with application, document, and transfer credit workflow; retrieving and verifying online test scores and English proficiency scores; classifying documents; responding to inquiries from students, faculty, staff, and the general public concerning applications and admissions; and performing other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience (minimum 2 years) in academic program activities in a university environment; graduation from a two-year business or office administration program, supplemented by university-level courses in business administration is required; or an equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills and experience working effectively with a diverse population of students and the public in a service related environment. Experience with Banner Student, document management systems (OnBase), Ellucian Recruit (CRM), or similar systems, and knowledge of Memorial's academic regulations and processes as related to admissions are assets.

SALARY $49,308 - $57,841 per annum (CUPE Local 1615)
