Who are you?
- You have a minimum of eight years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience.
- You have a minimum of two years of management or leadership experience.
- You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field. **An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. **
- You have experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures.
- You have experience working with information management systems.
- You have experience in conducting research, identifying, and evaluating potential solutions to problems, presenting recommendations, and working with others to implement approved courses of action.
- Knowledge of market intelligence strategies and tactics as well as New Brunswick's economy would be an asset.
- You are recognized for your attention to detail, organization skills and ability to exercise sound judgement to prioritize deliverables.
- You thrive when working on multiple projects and are recognized for delivering outstanding work within tight deadlines.
- You are able to lead and coach team members to meet key performance metrics.
- You have well-developed influencing, negotiating and relationship management.
As the Manager of Market Intelligence at ONB, you will:
- Report to the Director of Policy and Market Intelligence and lead a small team of Market Intelligence Specialists.
- Review and monitor the team's performance and metrics as well as operational procedures.
- Work closely with the Business Development team, to support their efforts, influence ONB's strategic positioning, and contribute to the development of strategic enterprise-wide plans.
- Conduct opportunity assessments and competitive analysis.
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to transform synthesized information into useable marketing collateral by the Business Development Team.
- Maintain lead lists, develop sales tools, create guides, and distribute market intelligence to ensure day-to-day operations align with broader strategic goals.
- Build and maintain a library of information to stay current on New Brunswick's unique value propositions and keep ONB generally advised of changes that could be leveraged further.
- Produce clear and concise written proposals based on your research and analysis.
- Provide advice to the management and executive teams.
Language:
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.
Location and hours:
This one position is located in Fredericton with occasional travel and work beyond regular business hours (8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).
