The New Brunswick Housing Corporation is seeking an individual to join the Loans and Administration team as a Loan Officer supporting Housing Programs in its Central Office in Fredericton.
Reporting to the Loans Administrations Supervisor/Provincial Consultant, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate administrative reports and data to regional offices, central office staff and external sources such as solicitors or clients. Responsibilities include performing a wide variety of duties using considerable independent judgment, initiative, and discretion. Additional responsibilities includes respond to requests and inquiries, gather information, review, assess and respond to inactive and active loan files including judgments, consumer proposals, bankruptcies, postponements, write-off accounts, etc.; maintain client file records and other database information, calculate monthly tax accounts for a number of homeowner loan accounts with Housing NB, liaison with regional staff and central office staff, and/or perform other related duties that may be assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED and a one (1) year post-secondary diploma in administration, business administration, or office management and at least five (5) years directly related experience OR High school diploma or GED supplemented by completion of a two-year post-secondary program in administrative support, business administration, or office administration and a minimum of four (4) years directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate experience in the following asset qualification:
- Experience working with legal and financial files.
- Experience with spreadsheets/Excel.
- Basic knowledge of PLANET.
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application the asset qualification in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.

Salary: $47,216 to $57, 330 per annum
