Salary Range: $47,971 - $59,969 per annum

YOUR FOCUS

Reporting to the Manager of Innovation and R&D Projects or the Director, the Project Coordinator serves as the primary contact for project owners and team leads. This role involves providing accurate information regarding project-related matters. The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating activities across multiple projects at CIC, which includes managing schedules, facilitating communication with project partners and team members, tracking progress, and ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time.

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the project team and stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing the scope of each project in collaboration with the Manager of the Innovation and R&D projects, the Project Team Lead, and the respective researchers and the industry partners.
  • Assist in the development of project timelines and work plans.
  • Track project deliverables, ensuring quality control and alignment with goals.
  • Facilitate communication and ensure clarity on project objectives.
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Organize and participate in meetings, ensuring follow-ups on key action items.
  • Monitor project progress and address potential delays.
  • Prepare and distribute updates, meeting minutes, and project reports monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are updated.
  • Provide support to UNB Office of Research and the industrial partners with information and cooperation when requested in order to aid in the completion of the external financial and project reports.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or challenges that may impact project timelines.
  • Work closely with the Project R&D Team Lead to find solutions and mitigate risks.
  • Perform other related duties with the CIC.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A university degree in a relevant discipline with at least three years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall et cetera).
  • Experience working in IT industry.

Additional Strengths

  • PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
  • Fluency in French (verbal or written) would be an asset.
  • Willingness to assume new tasks in an active research and development environment.
  • High attention to detail to collect, document and record information while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
  • Strong technical proficiency - Microsoft 365 Suite.
