Responsibilities:
- Oversee all food and beverage team members, facilities, sales and costs to ensure that maximum profit is achieved for the food and beverage operation.
- Coordinate with the executive chef to ensure that the preparation, presentation and service of food and beverage is of the highest quality.
- Review and monitor guest satisfaction and recommend changes to operating and/or marketing policies whenever a change in demand, customer dissatisfaction, or a change in the competitive environment requires such changes.
- Monitor and control labor and inventory costs, including preparation of reports as needed, to ensure that budgets are met or exceeded while quality is maintained and improved.
- Coordinate with Sales and Marketing on the promotion of the hotel and future events and promotions.
- Ensure that occupational health and safety standards are maintained throughout the operation in compliance with the applicable laws. Follow up on items requiring action from the Occupational Health & Safety Committee.
- Hire, train, manage, supervise, develop, discipline and counsel all food and beverage team members according to Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required and assigned.
