The Registrar's Office at Mount Saint Vincent University invites applications for the term contract position of Document Management Assistant.

Classification: 5 Month, Full-time Term Contract Position
Starting Salary: $36,100 per annum (prorated as $15,042 for the 5-month term)

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Admissions and Registration, the Document Management Assistant is responsible for supporting Admissions document management processes and procedures. Duties include:

  • Assist with processing all incoming international and domestic admissions documents (electronic and hard copy) and tracking them in the Student Information System (Colleague)
  • Scanning and indexing admissions documents
  • Assist with other admissions related responsibilities, including responding to student inquiries via email, phone or in person as needed
Qualifications

A 2-year Community College diploma in Office Administration or similar program complemented by 1 year of experience in a similar administrative setting is required. Strong communication and inter-personal skills are essential. A high level of attention to detail while handling frequent interruptions is also a prerequisite in this position. Efficient time management and priority setting skills are also required. Supporting all of these skills is a strong commitment to excellent customer services. Candidates should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, and have previous experience or an aptitude for using business enterprise systems such as Colleague, Banner, PeopleSoft, etc.
