GEMTEC currently has one opening for a Civil Construction Inspector for a project in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, reporting to our Halifax office location. The successful candidate will have experience in general construction activities, materials testing, and inspection services.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

• Experience working in heavy civil construction.
• Experience reviewing project drawings and specifications.
• Experience documenting as-built conditions and construction site activities.
• College level diploma and/or university degree is considered an asset.

Main Duties:

• Field inspection services and associated documentation for GEMTEC on PSPC marine projects (wharf construction, dredging, breakwaters, and other heavy civil marine projects).
• Performing other related duties as required.
• Following all company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.

Position:

• Contract starting January 2025 (estimated 5-month duration).
• Must have a valid driver's license.
