We are currently seeking an Administrative Support Clerk to join our team based in our Halifax, NS office.
Type of Position: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity:
An integral member of our administration team, the firm's Administrative Support Clerks are responsible for file management and assisting our legal assistants with various lawyer specific tasks.
In particular, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and closing of various files, assisting with file opening, and physical filing and indexing. In regards to file management, Administrative Support Clerks are tasked with scanning files, pulling duplicate documents, retrieving files from storage, and delivering files throughout the office.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for saving files in our online document management system, entering and reviewing Lawyer time, compiling court filings, drafting basic client correspondence, and booking meeting rooms and vendors, among other tasks related to file management. This position may be required to move or lift heavy items on occasion.
If you have experience in an office environment, the ability to problem solve and have a high degree of organization and attention to detail, we want to hear from you!
