Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Supply Chain branch within the Health Services division as a Patient and Supply Courier at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- The operation of a vehicle of less than three tons capable of transporting supplies, mail, passengers, providing messenger services and urgent deliveries;
- Performing or scheduling maintenance and repair work on vehicles;
- Loading and unloading materials being transported;
- Providing assistance to passengers;
- Cleaning vehicles, the garage, or other assigned areas; as well as,
- Maintaining a driver's log (distance, fuel consumption).
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a high school diploma or successful completion of G.E.D.
- One (1) year of previous driving work experience.
- Written and spoken competence in English is required.
Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Some travel required.
- Possess a valid class 4 driver's license that authorizes the holder to drive a bus with a capacity of less than 25 passengers.
- Extended work hours may be required on occasion.
