As part of the Enterprise Project Management Office, the Project Lead is responsible for providing project management services and overseeing the capital project portfolio, ensuring that projects directly support the team's objectives and align with the organization's goals.

Key Functions include:

• Manage and direct all aspects of assigned projects, including defining scope, allocating resources, and ensuring deliverables are met on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate team member activities to ensure tasks are aligned with project objectives, monitor progress, and foster effective communication to achieve project goals.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project execution plans, detailing scope, schedule, and budget, while incorporating stakeholder input to ensure alignment with project requirements

The ideal teammate will have:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a diploma from a 2-year technical program such as civil, electrical, mechanical, Project Management, or Construction Technology.
• Five years of related project experience, including three years of progressively responsible experience in project management, with at least two years of demonstrated project management within transmission, distribution, or construction.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Intermediate)

Assets would include:

- Formal training in project management

- CAPM or PMP, or actively working towards one

- Professional Engineer Designation (P. Eng)

An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
