The Opportunity

Lounsbury Furniture in Moncton looking for a full-time Warehouse Operator.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will load and unload trucks, assemble and move products within the store, and prepare orders for delivery. This is an entry-level position that can lead to increased responsibility and growth.

Hours of work are Tuesday to Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

• Picks, packs, and prepares orders in a timely and accurate manner

• Assemble and move products within the store

• Housekeeping and cleaning of warehouse area as required

• Works as part of a team to provide a great work experience in the warehouse

• Local and regional travel may be required for deliveries on an as-needed basis

• Ability to engage in physical activities and manual labor, as needed, including but not limited to prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending

Qualifications

• This is a position of Trust, and a Criminal Record Check is required.

• Must be willing to learn how to drive a forklift

• A valid class 5 driver's license is an asset

• Ability to meet attendance requirements

• Must have steel-toed safety boots

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs alone, and up to 100lbs with another person
