The successful application will also participate in the genetic and metabolic inpatient consultation service. The applicant will join a team of two other clinical geneticists and nine genetic counsellors.

The ideal candidate is a mid to senior-level geneticist with pediatric and adult experience including hereditary cancer and cardiac genetics, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Qualifications include an MD or equivalent, and certification by the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in Medical Genetics and Genomics or equivalent. The candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Through strong formal affiliations with Memorial University, and on the recommendation of the Program Chair, the successful candidate must be eligible for an academic appointment in the Faculty of Medicine allowing participation in collaborative research and teaching activities.

Your experience is valued and recognized in Newfoundland and Labrador. We offer competitive incentives of
up to $275,000 CADfor Internal Medicine physicians that recognize your passion, dedication and all that you will bring to our communities. Many incentives are stackable.
