SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments and individuals.
- Prepare outgoing mail, including packaging, labeling, and postage application.
- Courier time-sensitive documents to local courts and offices as required
- Maintain an organized mailroom environment, ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is functional.
- Assist with office management tasks as needed, including filing and document organization.
- Complete regular corporate records checks offsite at the Law Courts
- Support front desk operations and the document center as required.
- Utilize computer systems for tracking mail and managing inventory of supplies.
- Travel required within vicinity for deliveries, record checks, bank deposits, and other courier needs.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a mail clerk or office clerk
- Well-organized, with sharp attention to detail
- Ability to travel for local courier deliveries
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and literacy skills
- High school diploma preferred
