To support these critical missions, PAL Aerospace is seeking a Director of Air Ambulance to join our team in St. John's, NL.

Duties:

• Lead the Air Ambulance business unit and operation throughout all current and future PAL Aerospace Air Ambulance locations
• Collaborate with the business development team to pursue growth and business development opportunities for Air Ambulance services
  • Identify new business opportunities for Medical Services, emphasizing on PAL's value proposition as the optimal service provider in the local market
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality service provided
  • Responsible for client relations
• Maintain financial accountability through interpreting and analyzing operational and financial statements
  • Conduct financial forecasts and quality performance and capture overall operational performance
  • Produce and recommend annual budgets for Air Ambulance services
• Ensure maximum safety measures are followed within operations
  • Identify any areas of non-compliance with a corrective action plans
• Leadership of PAL Aerospace Air Ambulance employee base
  • Ensure quality service and management of resources
  • Mentor team for future growth and succession planning
  • Support the recruitment for the Air Ambulance team
• Liaison with the Chief Pilot with regards to Aircrew standards, training requirements, and Simulator Training plans
• Develop and execute technology insertion plans for Air Ambulance services
• Prepare weekly reports for senior management for contractual, quality, and performance updates
• Report key performance indicators (KPI) for all aspects of the operations
• Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required

Qualifications:

• Direct experience leading Air Ambulance flight operations
• Seasoned management experience in the aviation industry is required
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining client relationships
• Experience in Air Ambulance operations is required
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of aviation regulations, with an understanding of medical protocols for Air Ambulance services
• Effective communication and problem solving abilities
