As the Senior Financial Analyst, Voila, you will be a key business partner to the Voila Merchandising Leadership team, leveraging financial and commercial analysis to guide business decisions and enhance performance.
Here's where you'll be focusing:
• Partner with the Voila Merchandising Leadership and Loyalty team to analyze and interpret financial results to drive performance.
• Translate results and data into insights, provide accurate and timely analysis and reporting to management for decision making purposes by analyzing current and past trends of financials and KPI's.
• Lead sales and margin budget, forecast, ensuring adherence to timelines and alignment with Corporate FP&A standards.
• Assist in the development of business cases; build financial models, analysis, and insights to support the business
• Develops key financial insights through ad-hoc reporting and analyses to help drive business performance
• Develop and manage various reports including SAP, CFIN, and SAPBW
• Identify risks to plans and forecasts, working with functional leaders to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• Generate ad hoc analyses and presentation materials to support key stakeholders.
What you have to offer:
• An Undergraduate Degree in a related discipline (Business, Finance, Accounting, etc.)
• 5+ years of relevant Finance / Accounting experience
• An accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) would be an asset
• Excellent financial acumen; both Accounting and Finance
• Analytical, with a strong mathematical and/or statistical background
• Results-oriented, self-starting and proactive attitude
• Advanced problem-solving skills, ability to take complex inputs and generate practical outcomes
• Collaborative, with good communication skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a deadline driven environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including complex spreadsheet modeling in Excel
• Bilingual (French-English) is an asset. The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development, development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada
