JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Logistics and Patient Flow, Zone, the incumbent will assist in managing all activities related to the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital. As part of their mandate, they participate in planning and organizing service delivery, managing human, financial and material resources, staff training, quality and risk management, and supporting training and research in co-leadership with various directors and managers. The candidate will be responsible for effectively monitoring patient flow through administrative and clinical processes to optimize operations, enhance the quality of care, and ensure seamless communication between the zone's internal teams and external partners.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate degree in applied science or health-related field;
  • Graduate certificate in health services management or better (diploma or master's degree) is a distinctive asset;
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a management position;
  • Five years of experience in health care or a related field;
  • Experience supervising/managing staff and strong coaching skills;
  • A combination of training and experience deemed equivalent may be considered;
  • Proven transformational leadership ability;
  • Ability to set priorities and meet objectives;
  • Ability to manage numerous projects/tasks simultaneously, and understanding of the organization's needs and priorities;
  • Analytical, writing and synthesis skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong knowledge and skills;
  • Availability to travel within the Network's territory;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to motivate and engage people and to act as a change agent;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles and to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by Vitalité Health Network.
