  • Coordinate and schedule weekly FWSAR training activities, proactively identifying and resolving potential conflicts to optimize efficiency and enhance the client experience.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to training delivery, escalating complex issues to the Training Centre Operations Team Leader as necessary.
  • Adjust and update schedules for customers, instructors, and resources to accommodate evolving needs and changing conditions.
  • Use internal scheduling software to manage all scheduling tasks, promptly notifying the Training Centre Operations Team Leader of any conflicts impacting training delivery.
  • Provide scheduling and coordination support to the Training Development Working Group, ensuring all timelines and resource needs are met.

Logistics and Equipment Management:

  • Track and maintain inventory of parts, consumables, tools, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to ensure availability.
  • Oversee essential maintenance and compliance of tools and GSE, arranging repairs or replacements as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist the Course Coordinator with various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth Training Centre operations.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skillset:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in administrative or logistics support roles.
  • A bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with logistics and booking processes used in professional training environments is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite and strong computer skills.
  • Excellent data gathering, analysis, and report preparation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours to meet the demands of the FWSAR program.
  • Fluency in French is considered a strong asset.

What we offer:

  • Competitive Salary
  • Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Defined Contribution Pension Plan.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Personal travel privileges with PAL and interline agreements with other airlines.
  • Employee Tuition Assistance Program.
  • Employee and Family Assistance Program.

It's a rare opportunity to contribute hands-on to a critical program of this magnitude. We recognize the responsibility we hold in supporting life-saving operations in Canada, and we are looking for like-minded team members to help us make an impact.
