Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Supply Chain branch within the Health Services Division as an Inventory Services Agent based at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible to process purchase requisitions for replenishment of general inventory items.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Generate purchase orders in a computerized system to renew standing orders and replenish based on inventory control system.
- Ensure information is complete and properly authorized.
- Placing orders with approved vendors.
- Sourcing and purchasing substitute product when required.
- Track shipments and coordinate receipt and delivery.
- Track all back orders and solve PO exceptions.
- Perform general inventory management duties.
- Respond to customer inquiries and follow up on orders when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Show others how to perform tasks or duties as a part of departmental orientation.
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with our customers.
- Adhere to corporate policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED, supplemented by graduation from a one (1) year post-secondary program in a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience, including one (1) year experience in purchasing, logistics, warehouse, or another inventory related field.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Written and spoken competence in English is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
