To provide Configuration and Data Management support to Aerospace programs/projects, with emphasis on the update and maintenance of the aircraft technical record. To provide administrative and technical support to Aerospace Engineering. To carry out assigned projects.
What You Will Do:- Review of new and revised drawings and drawing supplements (MEOs)
- Review and release of engineering deliverables (CDRLs and SRQs).
- Update and maintenance of PDMPlus
- Support engineering activities by assigning unique identifiers for engineering documentation (Reports, TMs, PCNs, MEOs, SINs etc)
- Monitoring incorporation of modification leaflets into affected drawings.
- Support the CP140 Programs through review and processing of Requests for Engineering Services Non-Standard Repairs and Requests for Deviations and Waivers
- Coordinating the preparation and release of Publication Change Notices.
- Providing assistance to Engineering and Production personnel.
- Researching and assembling material to write a consolidated report of TLIR and periodic reports
- Participating in Review Meetings as applicable.
- Preparing outgoing messages, facsimile, letters, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of in-house Standard Plant Procedures (SPPs), Administrative Directives (ADs), reports, Directives, memorandums, etc.
- Carry out SPP mandated audits of Engineering drawings and documentation.
- Liaise with customers concerning project details.
- Respond to customer inquiries, carrying out research as required.
- Generate and deliver Technical Data Action Notices (TDANs) to the customer
- Carry out other duties/projects as assigned by the Manager, CM/DM.
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Hands on experience in a related technical field, with an additional one year experience in configuration management preferred
- One year experience in data management
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Detailed knowledge of configuration control and drawing standards preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Good attention to detail
- Self motivated and efficient
- Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian Government Security Clearances.
