Job Description:

The Critical Roles Program Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and executing the strategic initiatives of the Critical Roles Program. This individual will work closely with leadership teams, HR Business Partners, and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of critical roles program. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent Management, the role focuses on delivering key outcomes and driving continuous improvement within the program.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end management and execution of Critical Roles Program, ensuring alignment with Talent Management and HR priorities.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, internal Talent Management partners, and external vendors to support the identification, assessment, succession management and action planning for critical roles.

  • Engage, manage and influence internal/external cross-functional partners to deliver on key outcomes of Critical Roles Program; act as contact and expert on elements of Critical Roles Program and facilitate learning and/or information sharing for key stakeholders, as required.

  • Provide thought partnership on critical roles; leading the exploration including internal and external research, supporting development, design and implementation of ongoing development and enhancement of the Critical Roles Program by providing feedback, insights, and recommendations based on program performance and outcomes

  • Manage the assessment process for critical roles, ensuring timely and effective delivery of assessments, including scheduling, managing external vendors, and communicating with key stakeholders.

  • In partnership with Talent Management Assessment practice team, work with third-party vendors to manage the assessment tools and processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective partnerships

  • Manage program metrics and reporting, providing regular updates on the health of established metrics, including the identification of risks and gaps, and driving action where necessary.

  • Lead development of sophisticated presentation materials for key governance forums, presentations, and discussions related to the program's progress, outcomes, and future direction that include analysis and insights for executive-level audiences (may include the HR Operating Committee, Senior Executive Team and the Board).

  • Maintain strong governance of the program by adhering to established processes and protocols while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency in the program's execution; contribute to the development of enhanced standard operating procedures, protocols, guidelines, etc.

  • Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.

  • Develop and maintain program documentation, including program scope, governance, processes, and metrics, ensuring consistency and clarity in communications across all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Expert professional requiring 7+ years of relevant experience, HR knowledge and expertise with proven experience in HR program management or talent management.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to manage end-to-end programs or projects with notable resource requirements, risk and/or complexity independently, and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience collaborating with senior leaders.

  • Analytical mindset with experience in data management and reporting.

  • Communicate difficult concepts; converts information to compelling business context and advice; influences and gains alignment across increasingly senior stakeholders
