Description of the Role
As a Shipper/Receiver, your primary responsibility is to ensure that inventory is efficiently and accurately received at or transferred from the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Process shipping requests, including warranties, recalls and inter-store stock transfers
- Prepare and submit store and Head Office documentation as required
- Maintain organization in the backroom
- Check and ensure correct product pricing before moving product to the sales floor
- Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual inventory count
- Comply with OH&S and Loss Prevention Standards
Required Skills
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the game of hockey
- Previous retail inventory control or warehouse experience is an asset
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check (Must be 18 or older to complete a background check)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Computer experience is an asset
