SummaryThe Bell Neighborhood Marketing (NMT) Channel team supports over 1,100 agents nationally, externally managed by several vendors. The NMT and BMT representatives go door to door in our communities focused on non-Bell residential homes and small businesses, and our MDU representatives set up events in our partners buildings to market both wireline and wireless products and services. We are looking for a results driven Director to support Bell's Senior Vendor Managers who partner with our vendors to exceed the NMT channel activation targets, while enabling customers to connect with people, information, and entertainment. We're looking for a candidate who is proactive and continuously seeking new opportunities to improve, with a keen focus on performance measurements. They need to be capable of interpreting results and data to generate insight, with the ability to think outside the box and drive new unique approaches.
Reporting to the Vice President of Partnerships and Sales for NMT and MDU, the Director will be accountable for flawless execution to deliver the channel's expected results. This will be delivered by building business partnerships and strategic alliances with our vendor partners. The strong relationships will allow the Director to actively negotiating with the vendor partners, so they manage the successful execution of all programs to ensure the achievement of sales and productivity targets for all regions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of results driven Senior Vendor Managers
- Work closely with Bell's NMT vendors to ensure the successful execution of all programs in SFU, MDU and BMT
- Primary focus of your team will be to meet sales, agent head count and productivity, activation targets and other KPIs
- Provide weekly results to our executive team with key insights including weekly projections based on market realities
- Work with their team to launch and manage partner programs for all Bell products within our market
- Prioritize various sales and incentive tactics that will optimize agent productivity while ensuring the team stays compliant to all quality standards
- Support their SVM team on weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews with the vendor partners
- Collaborate with the Strategy & Planning, Operations and Partnership team to ensure the vendors execute on headcount targets and productivity plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on contract terms, rate cards and lead the negotiation when vendor contracts are up for renewal
- Ensure project deadlines and deliverables are consistently met
- Provide feedback such as competitive activities, pricing, product acceptance, etc.
- Recognized leader with a clear track record
- Relationship builder and strategic thinker
- Experience leading a sales team, with demonstrated experience in enhancing productivity and optimizing a sales force
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to anticipate problems, and opportunities and develop effective solutions through data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, written, and analytical skills
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience
- Bilingualism would be an asset
- Previous vendor management experience
- Salesforce analytics experience
- NMT channel experience
