- 12 destinations within Labrador, Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Makkovik, Rigolet Happy Valley - Goose Bay, Black Tickle, Cartwright, Charlottetown, Mary's Harbour, Port Hope Simpson, and St. Lewis.
- Charter destinations to various fishing camps within Labrador, to the Torngat Mountains National Park, wildlife survey work with our Inuit partners, as well as to various locations amongst Innu Lands with our Innu Partners for their annual Outpost Program.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director, Labour Relations, the HRBP role is responsible for providing professional advice, guidance and support related to the best practices across all functions in Human Resources to the Air Borealis division. This critical role plays an important part in supporting employees and leadership to maximize the potential and effectiveness of themselves and their teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Air Borealis leaders and employees onsite with advice, coaching and communication in all areas of Human Resources.
- Serve as the primary employee relations point of contact with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude, focusing on consistency and compliance.
- Assist with the implementation, coordination and administration of human resource programs by providing human resources services and administration, including but not limited to: training and development, performance management, records management, succession planning, retention programs and workforce planning.
- Support leadership to ensure all policies and procedures are followed in accordance with company guidelines.
- Assist with recruitment and work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to develop unique and customized recruitment strategies.
- Attend networking and recruitment events, with an enthusiasm to meet new people and share the Air Borealis story.
- Facilitate a smooth and welcoming arrival and onboarding for all new employees into Air Borealis.
- Create visibility for the HR Department on the front line, including station visits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a relevant post-secondary degree or diploma; a focus on Human Resources is considered an asset.
- 3-5 years previous experience in a Human Resources Specialist/Generalist type role.
- CPHR designation desired or CPHR candidate working towards designation would be considered an asset.
- Strong confidence in providing HR direction and advice to leaders and employees.
- Excellent detail orientation, time management and communication skills.
- Robust organizational and prioritization skills.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance.
