The Role

The Maintenance Planner requires a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in a production based environment. This position is located in St. George, NB.

Specific responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

  • Creating and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance and related projects for our processing facilities.
  • Point of contact between inhouse maintenance and contractors.
  • Oversee our inhouse parts warehouse.
  • Tracking of assets related to processing maintenance.
  • Supervise warehouse employees.

Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of experience as a Supervisor or Manager, that demonstrates supervisory skills and leadership ability.
  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with the development and implementation of Preventive Maintenance Programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Presentation, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills such as MS Excel, Word, AutoCAD.
  • Experience working in a food production processing facility would be considered an asset.
