SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY :

Reporting to the Regional Director of Addiction Services and Mental Health, the incumbent will assume a leadership role in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the services provided to meet the needs of adult and senior clients. This person will ensure the quality of Zone 5's outpatient addiction services, as well as that of the day/transition centre, by collaborating with health care professionals, clients and their families, and other stakeholders, in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of Vitalité Health Network.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of health science or social science in a relevant discipline (nursing, social work or psychology);
  • Member in good standing of a professional association;
  • Eight years of clinical experience in community mental health or addiction services, or with the clientele served, with increasing responsibilities;
  • Relevant experience in community health program management, including human resources management;
  • Sound knowledge of the mental health, addiction services and psychiatry fields;
  • Good knowledge of the legislation related to mental health and community resources;
  • Working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel;
  • Excellent leadership, high level of initiative and sound judgment;
  • Strong public speaking and group facilitation skills;
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities among multiple tasks;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
