Atlantic Lottery is seeking a skilled Delivery Optimization Specialist to ensure the effectiveness of our non-production environments. This role focuses on process design, optimization, and policy under Release Management governance. Collaborating with various teams to configure and maintain environment standards throughout project and enhancement delivery.
Our ideal candidate is someone who can effectively bridge the gap between the technical and business sides of the organization. They should be able to understand and articulate business objectives and how optimization efforts align with these goals. This person is not only technically proficient but also possesses a strong business acumen, ensuring that technical solutions support and drive business success.
Salary Band: 12 - $73,000 and up (Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, market conditions, relevant experience, education, training and internal equity).
Reporting to: Release Manager

Work Location: Office or Hybrid option working from either our Moncton or Halifax Office
Onboarding/Probation: 3 Day min. in-office for the first 6 months, located in Moncton, NB.
Collaborate with IT Teams: Coordinate with IT support, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless service delivery and minimize disruptions.
Deploy Non-Production Updates: Manage the deployment of software updates, patches, and new features according to the release schedule.
Maintain Environments: Ensure environments are clean, well-managed, and consistent.
Coordinate Configuration: Oversee the setup of non-production environments for development and testing of projects and enhancements
Optimize Resources: Assist in optimizing the use of non-production environments for efficient resource utilization.
Document and Report: Maintain detailed documentation of environment configurations and changes, and report on environment health and performance.
Support Metrics and Reporting: Track KPIs, environment utilization, and execution forecasts.
Backup Release Management: Support and backup Release Management processes as needed including scheduling of releases into the production environment.
Education and Experience:
- B.Tech in Computer Science, Business, or an equivalent degree and/or diploma.
- 5+ years of experience in IT or business, with a focus on product delivery pipelines.
- Strong understanding of project, release, and environment management principles.
- Must be 19 years of age or older to apply
- Must reside in Atlantic Canada
Professional Skills:
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Scrum, Waterfall, and other delivery methodologies.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
- Expertise in process and metric management.
Assets:
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA and ServiceNow.
- Background in the gaming and/or gambling industry.
