Summary

To identify, qualify, and close business jet aircraft transactions (acquisitions, exclusive listings, brokerage), through prospecting and direct sales activity, in the assigned USA region, predicated on Execaire Aviation policies and procedures, within the established budget.

Responsibilities
  • Network with business jet aircraft owners, operators, finance companies, and stakeholders within USA region to establish and nurture new customer relationships.
  • Document and maintain thorough records on each contact, to include key decision makers, aircraft fleet history, utilization, business history, activities and events that have, or will, influence an aircraft purchase or sale decision.
  • Stay current on understanding of all elements critical to the aircraft sales process, including comprehensive familiarity and technical aspects of all business jet aircraft.
  • Participate in virtual or attend in-person, tradeshows, conferences, and meetings as required and pre-approved by Director, Aircraft Sales, in both Canada and USA, to establish potential and new customer base.
  • Develop and submit to the Director, Aircraft Sales an annual marketing report and sales action plan for the USA region designed to achieve assigned sales objectives.
  • Co-ordinate communications and marketing campaigns and efforts with Execaire Aviation's internal marketing team to implement strategies designed to inform prospects of Execaire Aviation's capabilities and full range of services, for the life cycle of aircraft ownership.
  • Prepare and submit to the Director, Aircraft Sales a monthly report detailing sales activities, sales forecasts and sales, and expense budgets. Submit special reports as requested.
  • Convert prospects into opportunities for Execaire Aviation by providing new clients with an exclusive aircraft acquisition or aircraft listing mandate.
  • Lead all tasks or obtain the required support and coordination from the appropriate departments within Execaire Aviation, (or as required externally), to ensure the aircraft sale process is efficiently and accurately conducted. This includes developing specification sheets, coordinating aircraft photo shoots,
  • conducting factory visits, being present for flight demonstrations, reviewing sales transaction documents/agreements, pre-purchase inspection oversight, and all closing related tasks.
  • Facilitate transactions between Sellers and Buyers of each business jet aircraft acquisition or listing mandate within the USA region by providing supervisor customer service and representation.
Requirements
  • College or University Degree; technical aviation or business degree preferred
  • Current knowledge and understanding of all elements critical to the aircraft sales process including comprehensive familiarity and technical aspects of business jet aircraft.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in aircraft, aircraft management and/or aircraft maintenance sales.
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator to effectively and efficiently manage the sales cycle.
  • Strong presentation abilities especially in presenting to C-Suite executives.
  • Computer literate and web savvy, including use of social media.
  • Flexibility to travel more than 50% of the time.
