The Role:
This important role involves planning and providing services to aid school teams in supporting student behaviour. As part of the Education Support Services Team (ESST) and under direct principal supervision, you will implement direct services to students using evidence-based strategies. You will participate in case management and development of intervention plans for behaviour and model tier 1 strategies to teachers, among other duties.
Requirements:
Prospective candidates should have a university degree at the bachelor level in fields such as psychology, social work, or education with specific knowledge of behavioural and mental health challenges. Proficiency in positive support, behaviour management strategies, applied behaviour analysis, and crisis intervention is desirable. Equivalent combinations of training and experience may also be considered.
