The East Hants Aquatic Centre, is an inclusive and fully accessible aquatics facility featuring lap pool, leisure pool, lazy river, hot tub, waterslide and climbing wall. This state-of-the-art facility provides East Hants and surrounding areas with a diverse variety of aquatic programming and other recreation-based activities.

We are recruiting for Daytime Lifeguards to join the team.

Daytime lifeguards are available to work between the hours of 6am and 4pm, Monday to Friday in support of our year-round daytime aquatics programming.

Lifeguards are responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and supervision of patrons.

Qualifications:

· National Lifeguard with Intermediate Workplace First Aid with CPR Level C

· Lifesaving Swim Instructor, within 6 months of hire, and a willingness to instruct lessons

· Comfortable working in a busy, customer service-oriented, team environment

· A champion of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with skills to foster a welcoming and accessible environment

· Clear child abuse registry and criminal records checks
