Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is looking for a Service Advisor.

We are looking for a skilled and customer-oriented person. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to assist the supervisor in managing the workflow in the shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Must be able follow OEM Guided Diagnostics, prepare estimates, create repair orders and follow up with customers.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs, provide updates on repair status, and offer professional advice on maintenance and repair options.
• Workflow Assistance: Support the supervisor in overseeing the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and staff to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Completed high school or GED. Post-secondary education is an asset.
• Technical knowledge of trucks is required
• Must have a valid driver's licenses and a clean driver's abstract
• Must be computer literate - be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and be able to learn a new computer program. Previous experience with CDK is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and troubleshooting skills
• A good team player, has a sense of urgency and has the ability to multi-task

The work schedule alternates weekly. In Week 1, the hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. In Week 2, the hours are Monday to Friday from 4:30pm to midnight (this is subject to change based on workflow).
