Summary

Reporting to the Chief Accounting and Administration Officer, this position ensures the smooth running and tracking of materials and purchases for the entire company. They are always looking for ways to reduce costs while meeting timelines and quality standards. The person works jointly with the various departments of the company to establish priorities in order to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coach purchasing activities by initiating quotes requests
  • Place material orders and follow up with vendors
  • Goods receipt from suppliers and/or customers
  • Analyze and replace obsolete products
  • Manipulate, move, load and deposit materials and make appropriate transactions in the inventory system
  • Plan and prepare equipment for technicians
  • Maintain order logs using the various systems in place
  • Test the different equipment coming back from customers
  • Set up equipment for new customers
  • Other related duties related to these responsibilities
Critical Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Comfortable with Data Processing and multiple software
  • Driver Skills Card (Forklift); an asset
  • Ability to effectively manage priorities
  • Be organized and structured
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good learning skills
  • Good ability to adapt to change
  • Rigour in performing tasks
  • People oriented and able to enforce established procedures
  • Interest in telecommunications
  • Good physical condition (ability to lift loads up to 23 kg)
  • Driver's License (Class 5)
  • Knowledge of English and French, in the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
Terms of Employment
  • Schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday (Subject to change based on business needs)
  • Position related to the Drummondville office and occasional travel to St-Hyacinthe

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
