This position is critical as your main priorities are monitoring numerous systems including fire and life safety, access control and CCTV. This role will also assist in the tracking and deployment of security staff and handle a variety of dispatch duties including incident call taking. You will also be speaking directly with Paladin' clients and trouble shooting issues and providing excellent customer service.

  • Sunday & Monday - evenings (5:00PM - 5:00AM)
Job Description:
• Communicate directly with clients and security team using telecommunications systems
• Receive calls from clients and dispatch appropriate security to specific sites
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and responds in accordance with established emergency procedures
• Interacts with Police, the Fire Department, and EMS
• Execute hospital wide emergency dispatching and overhead announcements
• Regularly update the Security Staff schedules as changes arise during shift as well as filling shifts as vacancies arise
Requirements:
• Security experience an considered an asset but not a requirement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior customer service skills, including exceptional telephone etiquette
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
