ACCOUNTING CLERK (BAND LEVEL 4)
Finance Office
Faculty of Medicine
(Full-Time, Contractual Position to July 9, 2026)

DUTIES

Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the successful applicant will perform complex and difficult clerical work requiring considerable independent judgement. Duties include processing travel claims, advances, and visitor approvals ensuring Memorial's Travel Policies and Procedures are followed; performing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities (preparing invoices for payment); maintaining paper and electronic filing systems; replying in person, by telephone, correspondence, or email to enquiries; generating information from Banner Finance; tracking PDTER expenditures; maintaining Excel spreadsheets; and performing other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience (1-3 years) in general clerical work; supplemented by an office administration program; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Experience using Banner Finance, processing travel documents, applying the University's Travel Policy and Procedures and using Microsoft Office including Excel are required. Knowledge of processing accounts payable and accounts receivable are assets.

SALARY $49,308 - $57,841 (CUPE Local 1615)
