The Developer participates in the maintenance and development of one or more IT systems or auxiliary systems. Following requests from users or system managers, the Developer is responsible for analyzing and encoding computer programs as well as performing the necessary tests to deliver a product that meets the client's needs. The candidate must manage one or more technical environments in which corporate software operates. They may be called upon to act as an IT consultant or perform special tasks for a user or within a corporate team upon request. They may also be required to support or back up the business line specialist (higher level) in their tasks during an absence or as needed.
- Analyze IT and technical needs submitted by users and design/develop appropriate solutions.
- Write code for new features, bug fixes, and system error troubleshooting.
- Conduct software tests to identify and resolve bugs and inconsistencies, ensuring the accuracy of deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members to find creative and innovative solutions to problems.
- Follow development and operational processes within the Agile team, adhering to ITSM processes.
- Document work and production deployments in Cherwell and/or Azure DevOps, continuously updating documentation for all programs.
- Occasionally participate in meetings with business line specialists to coordinate and ensure the completion of testing tasks with good communication with users.
- Over 5 years of developer experience with in-depth knowledge of .NET, C#, MVC/Blazor/Razor, Kentico and SQL.
- Proficient in technical environments, analysis, and programming, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and familiar with Azure DevOps tools (boards, pipeline, repos, etc.).
- Strong communication skills in both French and English; able to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requests, projects, and tasks simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Great attention to detail, capable of detecting small errors or inconsistencies in code, and following instructions accurately.
- Solid team player with excellent time management skills and the ability to work productively in interdisciplinary groups.
