Basic Purpose of Position:

To contribute to company-wide recruitment activities ensuring vacancies are filled within a timely manner. This team member will be part of the high-volume recruiting team coordinating Pilot, Flight Attendant and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with hiring managers and other internal clients regarding filling of vacancies.
  • Create schedules for interviews and required assessments with recruiters and appropriate business units.
  • Ensure recruitment processes are in line with Collective Agreements.
  • Accurately track all data related to the hiring process using Recruitment Systems (Taleo, Hirevue, etc.)
  • Coordinate with candidates to schedule all pre-placement assessments (interviews, security background checks, medical assessments, etc.)
  • Work with internal departments to facilitate hiring (Health Services, Security, Corporate Communications, etc.)
  • As required, participate in related job fairs to promote employment opportunities.
  • Assist the Manager, Supervisor, Recruiters, Leads and team in all areas of recruitment as required.
  • Ensure the highest level of confidentiality is upheld.
  • Ensure delivery of the highest level of customer service required by the business units.
  • Contribute to an open, honest and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Human Resources Management degree/diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Previous experience working in recruitment and/or knowledge of recruitment best practices.
  • Superior writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
  • Previous experience using the Applicant Tracking System, Taleo is an asset.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and work under many tight time constraints.
  • Ability to be highly flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Solid organizational and administrative skills.
  • Bilingualism in French & English is an asset.
