As the Market Risk team, we provide risk oversight for the Bank's trading and treasury portfolios. Working in close collaboration with the business line, we ensure market risks are controlled.

Are you passionate about financial markets and data analytics? This role is ideal for an energetic individual who is both passionate about capital markets, and eager to apply analytical skills in a fast-paced environment. As a Manager, Capital Market Stress Testing and Market Data Analytics, you will be joining a diverse team with a key focus to promote stress testing as a tool for decision makers and risk managers. The individual will be actively engaged in discussions and collaboration with other groups in Risks as well as partners on the trading desk.

In this role, you will:

  • Implement plausible stress testing scenarios based on current market and financial environment.
  • Partner with different risk groups and relevant stakeholders on stress testing methodology design and output utilization.
  • Develop and implement new approaches; enhance existing methodologies to advance market data management and data quality control.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate to model developers, risk teams, and business lines on various ad-hoc analyses, methodology, documentation, reporting, and preparation of materials.
  • Execute model runs on regular basis for reporting and perform corresponding analyses.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd like to work with you if you have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Solid quantitative skills with exceptional and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Good understanding of market risk, counterparty credit risk, stress testing and capital market products.
  • Data analysis in a programming language such as SQL, Python, VBA, Unix shell scripting.
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite.
