WorkSafeNB is seeking a two-year term contract for a Communications Business Partner in our Communications department. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications, the Communication Business Partner plans, directs, and controls the delivery of communication strategies that support business goals and objectives. A trusted adviser to senior managers, this role prepares communication plans and provides advice, consultation, and direction on strategy. They investigate, analyze, and contextualize complex issues, identify key communication risks and opportunities, and advise on solutions that build trust and deliver results.

Your key areas of responsibility:

· Provide communications advisement, consultation and coaching to leaders and employees as it relates to communication management.

· Provide strategic communications planning which builds trust, confidence, and engagement among the public and helps the organization reach its business goals and objectives.

· Deliver communication products that convey desired messages and results affecting the organization.

· Provide stakeholder relations management that ensures transparency, building trust, and improving relationships in and outside of the organization.

· Providing internal communications that foster employee engagement through alignment with operational and strategic goals. This will allow WorkSafeNB to foster a high-performance employee culture that is inclusive, engaged, and empowered.

· Being a brand ambassador and providing marketing communications that provide consistency of brand and delivery of organization's value and reputation.

You, as a successful candidate, possess:

· Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or another applicable discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, or related role or have two (2) years post-secondary diploma in communications, public relations, or another related discipline with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience.

· Experience with corporate branding, internal communications, and external marketing.

· Experienced with external communications across multiple channels, including social media.

· Understanding of copyright law, media law, the Right to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RTIPPA), and the Personal Health Information Privacy and Access Act (PHIPAA).

· Experience working with the media and government relations.

· Experience advising/consulting employees, leaders, and teams as it relates to communication management.

· Understanding of the Canadian Public Relations Society's Code of Professional Standards and International Business Communication Standards.

· Understanding of Canadian Press (CP Style).

· Understanding of the Official Languages - Language of Service Policy and Guidelines and Plain Language Guidelines (Province of New Brunswick).

· Knowledge of legislation and best practices in areas of communications, government, and media relations.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Pay Scale $75,471.35 to $88,789.13

Benefits include vacation and sick time.

Your primary workspace will be from your in-home office, with the occasional expectation of in person meetings, for that reason, working from outside the province of New Brunswick, or country, is not permissible.
