Moosehead Breweries Limited, Canada's last major brewer still owned by Canadians, headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, is seeking a full-time Materials Planning Coordinator.
This role will be based at our Head Office in Saint John, NB, and will report to the Senior Supply Chain Manager.
- Ordering packaging materials needed to meet production requirements
- Monitoring internal and external inventory levels of packaging and brewing materials to ensure adequate supply available for production needs
- Managing and expediting deliveries of inbound materials
- Managing relationships with Customer Service Representatives at our material suppliers
- Booking production with supplier facilities
- Item ID creation for new packaging items in ERP
- Managing Bills of Materials and Master Data in ERP system for proper Materials Resource Planning execution.
- Initiation and participation in Continuous Improvement projects.
- Development and tracking of cost savings initiatives.
- Establishment of strategic internal and external relationships
- Tracking on time delivery, and quality of material receipts
- Participating in daily production meetings
- Creating weekly production orders for finished goods at our Saint John brewery based on the Master Production Schedule
- Administration and other tasks as required.
- You have a post-secondary education in business or applicable field. Some experience in procurement, logistics, and/or supply chain management is preferred.
- You will bring business acumen and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- You are a motivated self-starter with strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- You can manage multiple deadlines and multi-task in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
- You are organized, have great time management skills and a high attention to accuracy and detail.
- You are an effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central or other enterprise platforms would be considered an asset.
