SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

The successful candidate, reporting to the Manager of the Clinical Trials Unit, contributes to multiple clinical studies by managing clinical results to build databases and keep them up to date. Provides administrative support in maintaining source documents and supplying material needed to perform clinical studies. Must also be able to document activities specific to biological samples and to enter the information needed for sample follow-up and traceability into an information management system.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, college diploma in health information management or business technology;
  • An equivalent combination of training or experience related to research or data management;
  • Experience in data collection management;
  • Experience in laboratory information management;
  • Clinical research experience considered an asset;
  • Outstanding ability to use Microsoft Office and other specialized computer software applications related to research or laboratory information management;
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral and written) in both official languages;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills;
  • Excellent judgment;
  • Ability to follow ethical and regulatory policies;
  • Tact and discretion;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
  • Compliance with Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.
