Job Description:

This initiative has included detailed market analysis and customer research, as well as reviews of our product offerings, sales effectiveness, and referral processes.

Role Description

The Regional Manager WE will be responsible for delivering on our WE mission across the country, as well as helping to lead regional initiatives, external partnerships, and internal collaboration with other segment leaders and ONE TD partners. The Regional Manager WE will report to the National Manager WE.

The Role and responsibilities include:

  • Be present and visible in your market while working with internal and external partners that will allow you to uncover new opportunities;
  • Work with different departments internally (Business Banking, Wealth, Retail) and other key partners to build knowledge of the segment while also identifying and driving internal support and referrals to business banking;
  • Prospecting to uncover opportunities of women owned and women led businesses;
  • Maintain relationships with and maximize impact of TD's existing external collaborations focused on empowering Women in business through education, financing, mentoring, and community;
  • Increase presence and awareness of TD's Women in Enterprise focus within the marketplace, developing & maintaining key relationships with COI's within the market;
  • Scale our segment presence by working in collaboration with a team of accredited Women in Enterprise Bankers ("WE Bankers"). WE Bankers are highly engaged customer facing Business Bankers who share a passion for the WE segment;
  • Lead/support WE related events planned in each region with the help of WE Bankers;
  • Help with handling data analytics to understand all portfolio growth and track metrics of all the programs in place to report monthly.

Key Metrics/Indicators of Success may include:

  • TD's WE Presence internally and externally
  • WE Business Banking Account & Volume Growth through business acquisition and relationship deepening
  • WE One TD Volume Growth and referrals
  • WE Banker engagement, expertise, and business results, including direct and indirect reports

Key Attributes:

  • Strong active network in the women in business field and recognized as a leader within the community
  • Strong business development experience in the small business and or commercial space
  • Solid understanding of the link between access to markets and access to capital
  • Strong project leadership, able to work autonomously and with great initiatives A history of making an impact and delivering business results
  • A demonstrated ability to make things happen with impact & influence without a direct level of authority
  • Skillful communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and partnership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to host events, workshops, conferences and contribute to panels virtually and in person
  • Ability to lead a high-functioning team (direct & indirect management)

Job requirements

  • Business Banking and Commercial experience and understanding is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven track record of executing with excellence
  • Organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically while executing on day-to-day priorities
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders/business partners, influence others and gain consensus
  • Ability to work with colleagues confidently and professionally at all levels, including executives
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter and can work independently and as part of a team

Travel required within the Prairie Region.
