Job Title: Soldering Assembler
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Available Shift: Night Shifts Monday to Friday 4:45 pm to 2.45 am
Salary: $16.25 per hour

Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for the role of Soldering Assembler on behalf of our client in Dartmouth, NS.
Our client is looking for a skilled assembler to connect parts into more complex components. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will use your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision.

The successful candidate will have good technical knowledge and posses' great manual dexterity.

Responsibilities:
Possess the ability to perform miniature detailed assembly work
Possess a practical understanding of electronic components
Ability to work with a microscope and various assembly tools
Able to work on small components by using microscope only to perform assembly/bonding process.
Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
Collect all material and equipment needed to begin process
Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
Maintain equipment in good condition
Keep records of production quantities and time
Report on issues, malfunctions or defective parts

Candidate Qualifications:
Experience as an assembler
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings, etc
Completion of a post-secondary education
