We advise through the full lifecycle of core infrastructure projects across Canada and globally. Our work is across asset classes including transportation (e.g., transit, highways, airports), healthcare, environment (e.g., waste), energy, mining, social infrastructure, schools, and municipal facilities. Based in Halifax or St. John's, but with a focus across Atlantic Canada and providing support to our national team, you will join a team advising at the forefront of some of the largest and highest profile Atlantic Canadian and national projects such as the Corner Brook Acute Care Hospital (NL), the New Adult Corrections Facility (NL) and the Highway 104 Twinning Project (NS).
Our practice is trusted by public sector ministries and agencies, as well as by private sector bidders, for its expertise in financing, structuring, modeling and management of procurement processes, as well as for advising through the full infrastructure lifecycle. Your key responsibilities
As an Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work within our SaT Infrastructure Advisory specialty practice. You will have an integral role that involves working closely with other members of the rapidly growing national Infrastructure Advisory team to execute a variety of engagements related to the planning, development, delivery and operations of major infrastructure projects.

- Able to research and analyze information from a range of sources including financial, commercial, public policy, academic and industry sources to be used in competitive analysis, industry analysis, financial and non-financial scenario analysis and negotiation support, and various other applications
- Able to prepare clearly written, quality drafts of documents, reports and presentations for client submissions and meetings
- Interested in growing in terms of sales and business development, contributing to executing EY's "go-to-market" client development strategy
To qualify for the role you must have
- Undergraduate degree (preference given to relevant degree);
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, with experience in commercial, financial, economic and / or infrastructure policy analysis
- Strong analytical skills and capability to provide quality deliverables with an attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable presenting to a range of audiences
Some or all of the following are considered desirable, but not mandatory:
- MBA / Master's degree /CFA / CBV / P.Eng. / PMP
- Working knowledge of the infrastructure delivery lifecycle, with relevant experience in one or more of strategy and business case development, commissioning and procurement, transactions, asset management and disputes.
- Working knowledge of accounting concepts and principles (CPA not required)
- Working knowledge of debt financing and capital markets and/or project financing markets
- Working knowledge of capital project procurement models (DBB, DB, CMAR, IPD, PDB, P3, Progressive Procurement etc.)
- French language skills and Government of Canada clearance (reliability level or above)
