Department Overview :

Data Risk Management defines expectations and provides challenge on data management, governance, and risk mitigation activities in support of TD's data strategy. This is underpinned by our vision, guiding principles, and strategic imperatives, serving as a compass that directs the work we do, and we are looking for team members to help us make that happen!

Job Description :

This position will support the oversight of Data Risk and the management of the Regulatory, Risk and Board Reporting Communications. The role will be responsible for providing a broad range of risk analysis, reporting, monitoring and/or support to business partner requests and acting as a specialist/expert in providing guidance/ advice on a range of risk related matters within assigned or own area of specialization.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Proactively analyze potential risks and ensure key risks are aggregated / escalated to appropriate areas
  • Support ongoing risk measurement activities by acquiring, analyzing and reporting business data risks
  • Establish and provide regular risk analysis and reporting on data risk across the enterprise
  • Support with analysis and reporting on risk issues and their impact which may include scenario analysis
  • Support established enterprise-wide risk escalation, review and approval processes, data management, policies and risk assessment processes
  • Contribute to the monitoring of Key Risk Indicators through the identification of key risk drivers for the enterprise
  • May also monitor/report on compliance, management, and strategic initiatives
  • Provide regular commentary and industry analysis in supporting the development/ maintenance/ oversight of policies/ procedures/ practices

Job Requirements :

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or 2+ years relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Creative and analytical thinker
  • Ability to thrive in a face paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment. High tolerance for the pressure of constant change and stringent timelines
